No real rhyme or reason

Hello again! I have a few swatches for you today, and not much to say beyond that. Let’s get right into it!

This is two coats of Milani Ultra Violet. It’s a medium purple with a light purple to gold shifting shimmer. It’s got a good formula, but I wasn’t wild about this color on me. For whatever reason, I like purple, but I don’t like how it looks on the nail. Weird!

This is two coats of Zoya Bevin, a gorgeous muted blue-green creme. It’s really opaque, and could possibly be a one-coater if you put on a thick coat. The formula on this was amazing, it was like painting on butter… only less weird.

I layered two coats of Orly Fifty Four over Bevin. Fifty Four is a pink to gold shifting shimmer. I wish the shimmer was more concentrated in this, but thankfully it dries down “thin” and it dries fast, so I didn’t have a gross blobby mess from putting on too many coats of polish (though I did have some bubbling). This looks better over cool colors rather than warm ones.

That’s it for now! Thanks for swingin’ by. ❤

I’m Mauving On – Milani Color Statement Mauving Forward

Awful lot of Milani on my blog lately. I doubt anyone’s complaining, though!

This is two coats of Milani Color Statement Mauving Forward, without topcoat. As with all the Milanis I’ve tried, application was incredibly easy.

The color is pretty unique! I don’t own another one quite like. That being said, I wear it way more than I thought I would. It’s such a pretty, neutral color and it looks nice with most things.

In my experience, Milanis are very easy to work with and are priced affordably. I’m getting to really love them!
