Hey all! It’s been a while. I’ve been occupied with birthday shenanigans! You know how it goes. I have some swatches for you today that were taken a few weeks ago—I generally try to post things in order, but there were a few other manis that I wanted posted on specific dates.
My nails were so long here… I miss them, haha. This is two coats of Zoya Blu. The formula was good, and honestly I’m just enamored with this washed-out periwinkle color and colors like it. It’s close but not identical to Essie Virgin Snow.
I guess I’d gone to bed before my topcoat had completely dried and I ended up with sheet marks all over my polish, so I threw on one super-dense coat of China Glaze Let’s Dew It to cover it up, with stunning results! It’s a clear base packed with three different sizes of intensely reflective metallic dusty blue hex glitters.
Then I shattered my pointer finger nail. 😦
I would not be deterred, though! I filed them down, shaped them and got right to painting. I put on two coats of Zoya Tinsley and immediately felt better. Honestly I am weak for pinky-red polishes with gold shimmer.
You can see some visible nail line in my photos under the harsh light of the camera flash, but it wasn’t visible under regular lighting. Two coats is all you need for this beaut!
And that’s it for now. Thanks for swingin’ by. ❤
