My Russian disguise

Let’s have a look at that one time I applied my own hilariously bad nail tips.

Super flattering.

This is two coats of OPI Russian Navy. It’s a nearly blackened blue that has hints of blue shimmer, and a more prominent red shimmer that makes the polish appear purple in some lights.

I picked it up thinking that it was just a shimmery purple! It’s pretty innocuous from afar, but it’s clear just how complex it is once you take a closer look.

Then I added a coat of Maybelline Color Show Crystal Disguise from their Veils collection.

I felt it in my heart of hearts that this would be a good combination! Crystal Disguise adds a veneer of blue shimmer to your mani. It stands out from the rest of the Veils collection as it’s the only one that isn’t a glitter topper.

I’m in love with how this turned out. Crystal Disguise will probably look amazing over a white or a nude, too. I can’t wait to try it over a bunch of different colors!
