Pairing green and green might not have been the greatest idea, but I got lots of compliments on this mani, so whatever!
Here we have Maybelline Color Show Green With Envy, with Rainbow Honey Tayabak as the accent nail. Color Show is a cute, pretty mint green color, and it applied pretty easily, if I recall correctly. I used two coats here. It’s pretty much a dupe for OPI Gargantuan Green Grape, I think!
Tayabak is like many other Rainbow Honey colors in that its formula is just thick enough to be a little tricky to work with. Maybe it’s just the way I apply the polish? I usually try to do very thin coats, I think RH’s polishes just need to be applied with a bit of a heavier hand—you could probably get full coverage with one coat if you’re careful. I used two coats here, though.
I like Tayabak a lot, it’s a color you don’t see very often. Mints were popular this year, but this is more of a pastel, springy green, a little more saturated than the likes of Green With Envy/Gargantuan Green Grape. You’ll likely be seeing it again!
